Rich and his wife Jeanette have been married for 32 years. They have two grown children — Ricky and Caleigh — as well as a beloved 11-year-old dog named Murphy. Rich has worked at least part-time in the construction industry for many years, as he was an independent contractor working on condominium remodeling for five years before shifting gears into demolition estimating and project managing.
Rich recently celebrated his eight-year anniversary with MILBURN, and he says he loves how supportive and friendly his co-workers are. “It’s nice to come to work in an atmosphere where people like where they are, and are not always complaining about ‘this place,’” he says. “The camaraderie — both in the office and out in the field — is part of the success of the company.”
He appreciates how everyone at MILBURN actually practices what they preach when it comes to fostering a family atmosphere. It’s easy to say you have a great culture, but not as easy to actually implement and maintain that culture!
