Maria Martinez is an accounts payable specialist with Milburn and she brings over 20 years of accounting experience to the team. Having started in the field shortly after high school, Maria says a good family friend got her into accounting and “the rest is history.”
In Maria’s position, she works side-by-side with a controller to create an effective process. She also helps streamline Milburn’s process for receivables and works to assist her team members as needed. In the past, Maria was able to help the acquisition team and felt it was rewarding to aid and welcome new hires.
Maria says that accuracy matters the most when it comes to her role and she’s excited to grow, share her extensive knowledge, and learn more about the construction and demolition industries.
